Stacey Randell
I grew up and graduated from High School in Claremore, Ok. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Education from NSU in Tahlequah. I have a Master's Degree in Reading and I am a Reading Specialist. This is my 17th year of teaching. I taught 1st and 2nd grade in Missouri for 2 years before moving back to Oklahoma. This is my 15th year at Carnegie. My first 4 years here, I taught Music, Speech, and Spanish. I then chose to return to teaching 2nd grade.
I have 3 children, Chelsea (college student), Tyler (college student), and Hunter (7th grade-Thoreau Middle School.) I also have one grandbaby who is 2 years old!
I believe that every child can learn. It is my goal to teach each child to foster a love for learning and for reading. I want my students to become the best readers that they can be. Reading is the foundation that helps them in all other subjects at school and in their every day lives. I hope to create a safe and comfortable environment so that the students love to come to school and love to learn.
